Sunday 19 December is getting closer, and preparations are underway for the start of the 22nd edition of the Cetilar Maratona of Pisa, a day full of expectation in which runners from all over the world will arrive in the city of the Leaning Tower after the 2020 forced stop linked to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
THE T-SHIRTS – This year, respecting tradition, the official Marathon t-shirt will be inspired by the current exhibition at the Palazzo Blu art museum, entitled “Keith Haring“, a tribute to the American artist, universally recognized among the fathers of street-art.
A choice of which we are very proud, also for the bond that unites the artist to the city, where Haring stayed in 1989, to paint the famous mural “Tuttomondo” on a wall of the convent of S. Antonio.
The athletes of this edition of the 42 and 21 km will run wearing the bright and jubilant colors of one of the most beloved pop artists of our times, confirming the will of the organization of the Marathon to establish a virtuous dialogue between sport and culture, in a combination that makes the sport practice an important moment of promotion and enhancement of our territory.
